Chinese Medicine

Medicinal Chinese knowledge and practices date back as far back as 5000 years. In modern times, philosophy and practice have merged into a structured system known as Chinese Medicine.

Chinese Medicine is a holistic form of medicine that views the interaction of mind, body and spirit as an integral part of both disease pattern and restoration of health. Qi, the ancient concept of Yin and Yang, explains how natural forces within our internal and external environments can improve our ability to heal. Disease prevention and health maintenance are primary within this field.

Graduates go on to be practitioners who treat the imbalance of Yin and Yang using a variety of ancient techniques and, ultimately, help people learn about factors influencing health.
